Financial Discipleship

There are a couple areas in our life where most of us find it particularly difficult to relinquish control or submit fully to God. One of these is with our finances. We live our lives believing this is an area of our life that is up to us to decide, concerned with our goals, desires, our rights—not really understanding what it means to be a disciple in and with our finances. As a result, many times we struggle, feel frustrated, unsatisfied or perhaps simply miss out on the full blessing and life that God intended for us. We invite you to join us on a Financial Discipleship journey, where you will learn biblical principles regarding all facets of financial and money management, have an opportunity to align your finances, and discover that God does indeed plan for us to feel financial peace, contentment, and fulfillment. This 14-week class will cover the following topics: He owns it all; A Framework for Financial Management; Budgeting; Contentment; Managing Debt; Biblical Risk Management; Planning for College; Investing Basics; Biblically Responsible Investing. This class will meet from 5:30–7:30 PM in the upstairs Conference Room beginning on January 19. The cost for this class is $10, payable the first week of class.
